Car "dieseling" after ignition off
Its funny that you mention that, because that is exactly what I think it is also. There might be a possibility that the AEM is going bad. But I haven't heard any one talk about the new series 2 ecu's going bad yet.
I wonder if AEM would be able to tell if the ecu was sent to them. For all we know it could be a bad solder in the ecu?
I still haven't come up with a fix. I don't know if it's the ecu. But the weird thing is, the dieseling never occurs if cars only little warmed up. It has to be fully warm which makes me believe that injectors and ecu is ok. Not sure what the issue is but still looking for a fix.
Next question is what's igniting the fuel? Are the injectors leaking or is your AEM telling them to open and sending a signal to your coils?

AEM was fine. I sent in my FIC 1650's and they were all out of the normal parameters. So they gave me the new revised 1450's for better drivability. Car drives fine now. Doesn't do that dieseling issue. I think running q16 through them caused them to act up. Also, I noticed it only happens after long drives and if I turn off the car too quickly without letting it idle for a few secs. Hope that helps. A good tune could help also. It's caused when there is too much fuel still sitting on the Pistons.
