Have a questions about a bov

I was just wondering if there any diffrence between the bov that u have the hold on with t-clams like the brand Agency Power BOV and like a hks bov that u screw it in with like 2 bolts on the intercooler piping? Just wondering which is better or whats the diffrence?

IIRC both of those vta. Different brands of bov's have different mounting styles and flanges.

As was stated, they mount differently, but that may leave you missing the big picture.

1. The stock Evo 9 valve is one of the most efficient diverter valves on the market.
2. You shouldn't really need to upgrade this unless you're doing some specific types of modding.
3. To run a BOV with the 2-bolt flange, you'll either need a UICP with that flange, or have one welded in.
4. As Tom pointed out (he's the VTA police today haha) a BOV that is venting to the atmosphere is probably going to significantly hurt your performance, and make the car run crappy.

The stock Evo DV's are loud if you're running an open filter. If you're looking for more noise... get some IC piping, a filter, and a tune. Enjoy a better performing car, and saving money.

absolutely right. everyone wants bov's for their first mod because of the sound. they don't realize what a difference an open filter can make.
