Correct plugs? If you bought them from PepBoys or autozone, make sure they didn't sell you lancer plugs.
Are your plugs gapped correctly? If your car is modded, the gap they come from the manufacture is more than likely to wide for your car.
Are all your vacuum lines reinstalled correctly?
Do you have any boost leaks?
Most importantly, did you add any new mods during this gasket job? If so, take those off for now and see if the problem is solved.
I changed the head gasket due to an oil leak (which I still have just no where near as severe as before). I watched him due the whole process of disassembly and reassembly and checked it myself. Everything was put together properly, regardless, this issue has happened to me before the tuneup. Basically, it just comes and goes whenever it feels like it. Checked all my lines, they seem fine. Only thing I haven't done was a boost leak test because I have no idea on how to do it. For some reason I'm leaning toward a fuel pump issue but then again that would cause my car to run lean, correct?

Don't mean to sound like a noob, but what exactly is a NO CEL?

ANSWER TO CLOSE THIS THREAD
Today at work, driving to a building and my car started stuttering really bad to the point where the CEL did come on. Went straight to my mechanic checked the code and it showed (Fuel Injector 2). We had a look at the fuel injectors and low and behold the connections on the injectors were bad. The connectors have a metal peice attached to it which connects itself to the fuel injector and shouldn't come out unless pressed. So we took a big metal wire and cut 4 small peices, fitted it onto the injectors and they clipped in and don't budge. So the problem was, me being in NY (Brooklyn mainly since I work there) the pot holes are F****** rediculous so everytime I hit even the slightest bump it would shake the connectors on the injectors loose. SO THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM WAS THE FUEL INJECTOR CONNECTIONS -- MAKE SURE TO CHECK THEMMMM!!!!!

THANKS EVERYONE WHO HAS RESPONDED TO THE THREAD =)
I'M SO HAPPY THIS IS TAKEN CARE OF =DDD

well, i'm glad the CEL came on then...

And now you know the injector connectors were never installed properly after the head gasket install. At least it was an easy fix.
