backfire issue

<p>I was taking off my turbo xs intake today and putting on a hks filter...after reinstalling intake I checked the a/f at idle. Everything was good. Then I decided to go check a/f at wot. My car started backfiring and the service engine soon light began to flash....so I took the airfilter off and the mad adapter and reinstalled my original filter and mad adapter. Took it back out and did a pull same issue. I dont know what it is..ive checked for boost leaks..none from what I removed...ive never seen a single spark plug go bad from removing an intake so I dont what it could be....any insight would be helpful.</p>

^Second that. Check the MAF for damage/dirty and the prongs for the plug harness if you took it off. Did you happen to check what the code was for the check engine?

Gonna tear everything back apart. Get some mad cleaner and see what the deal is. This is exactly why I wanna go speed density so I dont have to deal with the maf.no I didn't check the code it only flashed im pretty sure it's for misfire.
