I'd say that a STOCK evo.. is much more RARE than a modded evo now... so I enjoy seeing one that has been unmodded/molested... making the ever-present modded evo more boring than a fully stock evo.

Agreed on the driving aspect, but to me it is great to see someone keep it stock as well, I am more impressed I guess with someone's will power to leave it and drive it, than some of the molested ones I've definitely seen, some are tasteful, and obviously that is subjective to every person as well.

Just thought I'd share my .02 on the 'boring stock evo'.

I agree, personally i rather keep my car stock as much as posible. i just feel that when you mod is not gonna look/drive like an evo, like it was meant from factory. Well to each their own, i think we can all agree that any evo stock or modified looks/drives better than most cars out there.

I do agree with being impressed by someones will to keep from modding it because I damn sure don't have the will power for that. I don't want to say I would feel like the car is wasted but in some aspect considering the excellent aftermarket support and the quality of most of the aftermarket parts it does seem like there are other cars better suited to stay stock.

/\ haha I definitely don't have the will power for not modding...my car was stock for like 6mos at most. The problem with modding the Evo is, that you spend the first $1k or 2 and you get huge power gains...then your addicted like a crack head in which you will beg, borrow and steal for the next 10hp. lol
