The Evo VIII, I saw it, touched it..trust me!
I find all the talk about "it must have ACD, AYC, Bremb" very amusing. I drive a car, not a spec on paper. I don't care how it does it, I want the car to drive well. If Mitsubishi can get good stopping using another make of brake, fine. If they can get good handling without ACD or AYC, fine also. Let me assure you that taking a corner max out, back end sliding, you don't think "wow, the AYC and ACD are really great". All you think is that the car is great.
I will probably change to a VIII (I already know a bit about the plans for an Extreme
) and I will probably spec a car without AYC if I can.
However, the thing you should be concerned about is the engine power. I am not sure how Mitsubishi are going to get it through US testing without either a drop in power or spending loads of money on it. Therefore, expect a power drop.

BUMP, hahaha, I now hold the record for the oldest bumped thread! LMAO, not sure how I came across this, but I read through it and found it really funny what people were saying, when the Evo was just a hope and a dream for the US.
