Logging with Windows 8 & Evo Scan

I am trying to log my A/F through Evoscan. I have a HP Pavilion G4 with Windows 8. I have a AEM 30-4100 Wideband with the spec ops logging cable. I have a serial to usb adapter I got from Mellon. I can't get my A/F to log at all. I think its my setup in Evo Scan or Windows 8. I see three AEM's under the wide band setup non of which work. If you have any ideas please help.

Might want to try asking in the ecuflash section for better answers. It could be the logger does not have the right request to log from under the aem selection. U really dont need a logging cable with the aem gauge. All i did on mine was run the blue output wire to my rear o2 wire near the ecu, and soldered it and another wire and change some things in the request and the equation part in evoscan and log that way. There is a how to somewhere in the ecuflash section. I also dont think logging it with a seperate cable will show up in the logs, i think it needs to be imported somehow with the way you are trying to log the afr.

Actually many folks have logged with the AEM through the serial cable for a while before the rear o2 trick was pioneered...and it goes into the combined log just fine.

On Topic: Can you take a screen shot of what you see in EvoScan? Can you also take a screen shot of your device manager, particularly the part showing the com ports? and yes this should be moved to the EcuFlash forum.
