Short circuit to evo 9 ignition

My evo 9 was running good all day and suddenly didn't want to start. When i try to start the vehicle there is no power but i let the key on the on position and it begin to go on and off and the lights at the panel goes dim( radio, speedometer, ac control panel). Try to started when they are dim and it turns off. i connected jump cables to it and it still do the same thing. All the roof lights work and exteriors does too. I check fuses relays and everything seem to be ok its like fuses and relays are not getting constant power. Please help!!

Seems more like a starter than a fuse/relay issue. Have a buddy help you out with this, lift up the front end secure it properly, turn the key and tap on the starter at the same time, dont hammer on it real hard just a slight tap will do. If it turns over you have a starter problem. If not check the voltage on the starter, there should be a constant 12v connector (4 gauge wire) and a signal wire (16 gauge wire), check the signal wire with the key in the crank position. If your getting power, than swap the starter. If not, you have some issues with the wiring, ignition key or fuse box

I finally found the problem it was the wire harness in the driver side fender on top of the tire. I hit a bump on the road and the tire Hit the harness it cost me 473.00 to fix it. Thank you for your reply.

My friend had a similar problem. Make sure to zip tie those up in that fender well. Home depot has metal zip ties you can use for a stronger hold.
