Tuner enabled the CEL to flash when the car detects knock. You need to log the car a couple counts I wouldn't worry about but more than that in a high gear high load situation I would.

Log the car.

Fast blink or slow blink from the CEL???

Doesn't it also mean possiblility of damaging the cat? Too much fuel from a misfire. One of those emissions related things?

I would go back and have them fix the tune, it should not be knocking especially if you were just tuned. The knock light is there to let you know that you should let off the throttle to avoid damage.

you should not go back to the same place if your tuner told you that the engine knocking is fine

You would need to open your rom to see what the Slow Flash on Knock Threshold is set to.

I would try another tuner (either in the Bay Area or an online tuner) since you're getting knock when going highway speeds in 6th gear.

Slow flash is still an indication of more knock than you want. The count required for slow flash would probably be set for 3-5/6 counts, more than I would consider OK.

I wonder if it's just running lean and all timed up. I bet that's what happened. All that to give your the illusion of much more power after the tune.
