slight grind going into 2nd

Recently I noticed whenever I go into 2nd gear there is a slight/mild grind. I inspected my trans fluid, it was full but I didnt like it so I changed it with AMSOIL 75w90. Drove it awhile, it got better but occasional grind here and there. Clutch is newish with no more than 2k miles on it. Will adjusting the clutch peddle make a difference? Adjusting the shifter cables?

I searched and found folks who had bigger issues than me, bad synchro/gear and such... any help is appreciated

I have the exact same issue, but it doesn't really bother me. I think it's just your synchros getting a bit old. That being said, I have 98k miles. I don't think it's a problem, but I don't know how bad it is for you personally. Mines somewhat random and happens once or twice a day. Also my clutch also has about 2-3k miles on it.

I had my 4th and 5th syncros go bad. They would grind at high Rpm shifting fast.

I have the same slight grind at low RPM, no issues up top. I adjusted the clutch properly, installed new shifter base bushings, shifter linkage bushings, and just got a Blox front engine mount to see if that gets rid of it (not installed yet). Next thing will be AMSOIL in the transmission. These make it so I don't feel it in my car:

1) Double clutch it with a throttle blip in between
2) Go from 1st to natural center, then slowly glide into 2nd. Don't force it and you'll feel when it wants to go.

I highly recommend making sure your clutch is adjusted properly. If it's dragging it will cause this. The shifter base/linkage bushings didn't eliminate it, but holy hell does it feel so much better. I'll let you know if the Blox helps out at all.

I'm getting a 4th gear notchy shift at high rpm.I'm going to install shifter base bushings and new clutch and see if that helps.Otherwise it's ordering a 4th gear synchro if i can or shipping the tranny to Jackstransmissions or Shep.Going to be costly as i live in SA...

My 3rd used to do that, then it slowly started getting worse n worse and I ended up doing the 5speed swap. Chances are synchro is going bad.

Samo kupi 5speed Bolja transmisija lol

Thats exactly how mine started, right before it started randomly popping out of gear. Every other gear is like butter, second gear synchro is toast. Previous owner may have banged that one in a few too many times.

Had a shop do it. Took then couple of days but I also put poly bushings in the rear diff and mustache bar. It's weird as hell going to the 5. Feels like a different car lol 6speed is so much more smoother but hey no grinds

Don't take this the wrong way but why are you at high rpm going into 5th? You must be going around ~115 haha. But it really depends whether you take the trans out yourself and send it somewhere or drop it off somewhere or get the entire trans completely rebuilt or just that single syncro replaced.
