bishiboy,

Those overlays ROCK... They are totally awesome. Where did you get them? How much? I want them ASAP.......

dividedsky,

I am also about to get the Blitz BLM gauges. However I could not find a picture of them in the day time and was not sure how they would look during the day as they are black light. Since you have them, what do you think? How do they look during the day?

Lancershop.com told me it would be at least a month before they have the 60mm A Pillar gauge pods that hold 3 gauges. They did not know if they have the tweeter cutout either. I may keep waiting but I also just might buy the 52mm one with the tweeter cut out and the boar out the holes to fit the 60mm.

I am really

Thanks -- I did check it out and placed an order for the needles. Want to see what they look like on the stock gauges before I purchase the overlay.

I also finally ordered my gauges -- the Blitz BLM series. Now I have to find a 60mm gauge pod for the steering wheel. Anyone know where I can get that?

I just got my gauge pod. I got the Greedy 60mm stand from Vivid Racing. I think it is going to work out just fine.

I finally have all my gauges and pods in transet and should all arrive here by the end of next week. EXCEPT for the ever elusive 3 60mm A Pillar pod with tweeter cut outs. I would give anything for one of these.

I saw Defi needs a control unit. I need a boost gauge urgently and was wondering how is measuring done with elec. vs mech. gauges and which one would be the most precise out of all models on display here?
Price difference is obviously there.
No one knows?

Mechanical in my opinion is alot hard to setup and can lead to troubles later on , well from my experience. Electronic gauges have little sender unit that send information for the sender unit to the gauge which is alot easier to deal with. Mechanical is somewhat more accurate in certain measurments. But the electronics are just as good IMO. The reason the prices is less is due to the less complex setup with the gauge. I would go with electronic. My greddy gauges are pretty dam accurate and very responsive. I havent ever used anything but greddy though so yes I am biased toward greddy.

Senior Brest,
The back of the BLMs look like the Autometer Carbon Fiber series in daylight. The build quality is top notch though. It looks solid and sexy.

Don't think you'll regret your purchase.

z-series - vdo - and so on

Hey All -

Turns out Autometer Z-Series does not feature EGT? I looked all over. I would like to be proved wrong.

Check this out though. I found it when looking for a DIN panel.

I'm not to hot on sweeper type gauges though.

donutmonkey,

I think you are right. I have not seen an EGT for the Autometer Z-Series.
