Attention painters! Are all evo 8s a single stage paint ?

I own a 2003 evo , weightless white and I work at a bodyshop. I had to repaint my quarters and we had switched to this new paint " water base" and I found out that the car was a single stage paint" base and clear mixed in" just wondering if all the paint for the 8s are single or if its just for the white ones. Thanks !

Sorry but your are misinformed.. I work at a bodyshop and maybe only a handful of cArs that come in are single stage . Most are base coat clear coat. More luxury cars are a single stage and older ones

Yeah and just looking at the apex silver in pictures they don't appear to have that " dullish" look that single stage has. Guess that's just the sacrifice I have to make while having a sexy white car

As far as I remember this discussion. Only the white and red were single stage.
The blue, grey, black are base coat/clear coat.

As far as i know, single stage paint are for solid colors only, paint with metallics or pearls are basecoat-clearcoat finish.
