So I dont want to drill three holes in the front bumper for a license plate, but I do not mind drilling in the under side of the ACD pump opening.

I found this on Ebay though its only for motorcycles. There is one that has the mounting tab offset to one side, Though I feel I could toy around better with the looks and angle of it if the mount was in the middle like the one in the picture.

Can anyone make this PC'd black?

I'm sure a machine shop in your local area could make it for fairly cheap. I work with fabricators and doesn't look like a complicated piece at all. You are probably talking a max of $50 for parts and labor. I know it's more then the one you posted, but it would be a custom piece. GL

 

go to the local scrap yard buy some aluminium and bring it to a machine shop or make it your self lol i could make that with just few tools

You could do this yourself no problem.

 

There is also a writeup somewhere where the guy used body tape and T-nuts to mount the plate in the normal position so you don't have to drill.

 

^ Yes I have it in my book marks...The only thing is he uses 3m double sided tape only where the tabs mount to the bumper..I dont drive fast at all but I want to have some piece of mind

 

I picked up a universal license place holder (aluminum) and drilled on the underside of the bumper so you don't see the drilled out holes if you remove it for a weekend track day or what not.

This is a very straight forward part to make. It would be laser cut or water jetted to get the initial form then brake formed to create the tab. Total hands on time would be a maximum of 30-45 minutes. The cost though would come from the laser/waterjet programming. Not that it's a hard part to program, but that is where your cost would come from. I would agree it would be about $50 to make one piece, but it would probably be like $70 to make 20 of them.

 

Why bother? He can get something like I got for $16, search for other similar items on ebay or fab one up in his garage from scrap metal if he has any....simple bend and drill some holes and done....

 

Exactly. It would be a waste to spend the money having a shop make a single one. However if you wanted to make a lot of them it would be pretty cheap.
