DW300 question

Gonna upgrade fuel pump to dw300. Is it practical for cars running under 400hp?

You could always go with the aeromotive stealth fuel pump that's what I'm running and its good way past 400hp.

If you look at comparisons online it performs way better than a walbro255. Check out this thread.

DW warranty is phenomenal with a lower failure rate compared to Walbros. Even if it was overkill it wouldn't hurt anything. I have one in my car with 330whp, it's extremely quiet if not quieter than stock. Never had a Walbro, but I heard they whine like crazy especially on hot days.

Im having some fuel cut issues at high rpms full throttle so im hoping this helps alot. Ill just go with the DW solely based on warranty and quietness

I've been running the DW301 for almost 2 years. My PRIMARY reason for going this route over the Walbro that I had in my 5 was because of the noise.

My Walbro wasn't always loud, but when it was, it seemed random... In the 5 it wasn't too big of a deal, since it ended up as pretty much a track car, but in my 9 I wanted stock quietness.

The DW has been COMPLETELY un-noticeable in a good way.
