Just as the title says the car wont even crank, checked all the fuses and all the lights work, and i dont know what to do next, help anyone please.

 

check all your sensors, you may have disconnected them.

 

Check connection on starter.

Does car click?

 

It does not click at all. I turn the key and all the usual lights come on and i hear the fuel pump prime and iinjectors but thats it.

 

Im gonna check for any lose conections tomorrow morning anything else i should check for, i was listening to the radio for like 2 hours but i dont think that drained the batt cause all the lights work.

 

Try jumping it. Sounds like you killed the battery just enough.

OK, what is it that you actually disconnected?

As far as i know just unbolted the oem exhaust wich was a PITA with all the rusted bolts and bolted the hks thats it, ill try jumping it tomorrow and check the conectiont that go to the starter. THANKS GUYS

 

U could push start it too, rather than jump

 

simple, grab a volt meter and make sure you have voltage.

 

check your voltage, possibility of the clutch switch. I've had this happen before (not on evo, but eclipse). The clutch switch broke and the car wouldn't start because it didn't know the clutch was being pressed

I just used a jumper wire to bypass the switch, but then you gotta remember you can start the car without pressing the clutch while in gear

 

check ur fuse

 

You didn't short out the starter by hitting terminals with a wrench?

 

I Used the jumper cables let it charge and wala it turned on, thanks guys for all the imput, i feel so stupid it was that simple you guys are awsome.
