I hear some good things about ACD systems when they are set up properly. I think R/TErnie should chime in...

ACD without the AYC is also quite useless. The rusting issues & the pump rebuild cost me some heavy monies .... not worth it in my opinion and if it's not working, it's slowing me on track

+1... though the cleanup from the damage snow, road salt and sand do over an extended period is no fun $$$.

I have the weir 12 plate rear diff mod. And I had tons of noise and chatter and popping. I contacted weir and he sent me out two thinner spring plates and now it works like its supposed to. No inner tire chirp on tight turns, no loud popping and great lock up and power oversteer

Not trying to thread jack but as I just upgraded a bunch of my drivetrain stuff with Jacks Goodies(TC/Tranny/Clutch) what made you choose quaife vs. wavetrack? I am assuming this is what you did or you wouldn't have made that reccomendation yea.
I chose the quaife over the wavetrac just because of quaifes long and great reputation. Wavetrac wasn't as known when I did the upgrade and I chose to go with something that had a stronger background. Both are great diffs and act exactly the same. I'm sure if you had both and did a back to back testing, no one would be able to tell a big difference if any at all

maybe its the grass is greener on the other side but I have an 03 and i would like to have acd. you can actaully tune the acd ecu and make it naturally oversteer, understeer however you like. if you search it on here youll find it.
