Double oil coolers?

Thinking anout doing it but want an opinion

Will it cool drastically and I guess you would hook one up to other and back but thats alot of line.

Or could you run a cooler on the intake side just for the turbo itself from the block or above the filter?

Looking for better cooling

Think u might loose oil pressure if u run dual coolers , there is some thrend in here where ppl relocate there cooleres for cooling , exmp to the front by the rad support over the intercooler . Also another option is to run a fan on it

You're better off running one well made bigger oil cooler and either relocating it to the front or putting a fan on it

I too wanted a bit more cooling. I was thinking ahead, if I ever decided to track the car, I wanted a way to keep temps low.

I bought a Derale oil cooler with a small integrated fan. It's a simple 12V fan that can be hooked up however you wanted to.

I never ended up using it because my oil cooler duct hits the fan and I didn't want to cut it.

A fan probably isn't worth it on an Evo where the oil cooler gets direct air anyway. You only need to worry about oil temp really if you do long sessions on a track. I have no problem doing 30 min sessions in my VI, but my friend with his VIII was having a terrible time, but was able to fix it cheaply with 2 simple tricks. The first thing he did was cut a big hole in the inner guard wheel well plastic directly behind the oil cooler and covered it in mesh. This dropped his oil temp noticeably. He still however had troubles on really hot days, so he borrowed a trick from the Rally boys and routed a line from his Intercooler spray to the Oil cooler, and fitted a solenoid so it would spray every time he hit the brakes (disconnected for street use). Yes he will be out of water after a couple of sessions, but he has zero oil temp problems now
