Sounds like your injectors !! Try cleaning them again and see what happens

 

Thanks for everyone who replied. Took a second look at the injector clips. The wires on there were damaged, so made a temporary fix and it's running perfect again.

 

Had a friends Evo8 doing this around 4600. I logged it. It seemed to be in 3rd. We changed plugs gapped at .19 stock motor. Didn't help. I put my stock coils on his car and now its fixed. I don't think it was a coil. I think it was a wire.

 

Sry missed the fix. Cool!
