I agree....I have done a lot of other looking and it is pretty much true that the 5's and 6.5 TME are quickest unless you get the FQ models like in the UK + few in AUS and other places.....But anyway I agree with SHARKBITE2000 they all really awesome but I was just sick of AMERICAN's being cocky to me and saying my car is crap(and way slower) when it really seems better to me than what they have in some cases NOTHING.....I shouldn't worry about what others think s much but it was a reacurring theme quite a few times. AS for in true life conditions and what is quick 5's and 6's TME I have drving seemed to me to be much more powerful than a 8 and a couple 9's.

 

Unfortunately I way prefer the look of the 7,8 hence why I have 1 though.

 

Thanks for correcting my typo mistake over the seats aswell,anyway trying to make this useful as info for me aswel....Does anyone out there know exactly what type leather seats are in my GT-a?(picture earlier in thread) I have seen lots of other GT-a's here and even with the leather option they are not as moulded type seats like mine.

 

no clue on the seat... the video is rigged... no way a ix ran that slow... my 0-60 was clocked at 3.7sec stock with a tune...

that being said the evo 8 is the only one i don't like the look of. the bright silver euro style lights and the retarded looking pyramid in the bumper kill it for me....

 

I didn't think there was a 9 on there...only 8, + some of the slower ones u see why there times are killed abit including the 8 at 5.97 at memory and that's coz they change from 2nd to third at 95 kms/hr or so, my GT-a goes past 100kms in 2nd.

 

oh yeah I watched again the 9 did 4.8 but it also was like some others and changes from 2nd to 3rd just before 100 so would likely do 0-60 miles (like 96-97kms/hr without changing to 3rd in 4 sec's or abit less with abit or work.

 

That video is far from a reliable source of 0-100 times. To begin with the 8s and 9s were either not JDM (JDM only has 180kmh speedo) or they were modified, which would make all the numbers completely irrelevant from one another. And the variation in drivers would have thrown the numbers way out too. I have driven factory GT-As before and I strongly doubt they could've returned a 0-100 time of under 5 seconds, let alone be quicker than the CT9 platform.

Factory GT-As come with recaro seats but not the same as the MT Evos, they are not as much of a tighter fit. I've only ever seen cloth, your seats will either be an extra option from the dealer or out of another vehicle. Do they have RECARO stitched into the back? (About shoulder height).

All the JDM evos I've come accross (1-9) including my own have 180kmh speedo while NZDMs have the 270kmh

 

Yeah but if you look at picture of my GT-a they are not these seats...these are same as all other's I have seen in Aust but mine are the only one's I've ever seen like this...much nicer than those leathers one's pictured just above, not sure what the deal is.

 

Hey Andy yeah wish I had the 270km/hr speedo....There is a guy here with his car still limited to the 112 miles an hr.....Have you had any experience or know how hard it is to remove this limit as he has rang a few place's and they won't remove it for him.
