Should I be worried or just paranoid?

Hello, Can anyone let me know if this vibration is Evo Normal. Here is my story, I have just changed my cat-back to a less loud one, and now I feel a vibration in my Gas Pedal and Steering Wheel at around 3100-3400 rpm’s. I am familiar with the vibrations and noises made when a timing belt and balance shaft are not aligned correctly because I have had that problem before. But this is nowhere near as loud or harsh as that issue, but is it possible for either of the balance shafts to jump a tooth? Could it be that my motor mount went out? The small belt on the balance shaft snapped, if so, would it feel like a balance shaft delete if not spinning and how much does a balance shaft delete cause a motor to vibrate? Maybe I am just being paranoid, since I don’t drive my car everyday and since I put in a less noisy exhaust this vibration is noticeable. I appreciate your input.

Does it do this in neutral or only when in gear. If only in gear, what gear?

I can feel it in Neutral also, but not as harsh.

Some people have mentioned that you can barely feel when the balance shaft is removed. Have you made sure your exhaust hangers are lined up properly? Part of the exhaust vibrating on the car would made a huge racket.

Check to make sure the catback isn't hitting one of the heat shields

I may have to check the exhaust.. I am even tempted to put my other one back on for verification purposes. I might do that first before I start to take apart my Timing belt cover. I appreciate the input. I should have thought about putting the old cat back back on to remove that new variable..

Your probably feeling the vibrations because your other louder catback was drowning them out with the low exhaust notes.

Maybe, could be a possibility. I bought the Evo with that Cat back and it could have easily always been there. But I could have sworn it wasn't there. I could be wrong since I only drive it 1-2 times a week.
