garnish ring
Hey,
Im new here. sorry for the noob question but i was just kind of wondering if it was possible to remove the garnish ring on the shift boot and just leave it like that? would it look nice or no?

You could take a look into picking up the shifter console from an MR, they are fairly inexpensive new from the dealership and don't have to risk destroying your current one.
