I just recently picked up a PLX wideband, boost/vac sensor, and dm-6 gauge. After looking over the parts I realized that the boost/vac sensor was a 3 bar map sensor, which I imagine that most digital gauges are. Well, this sensor came with a harness and pins for connecting to an aftermarket ecu. My question is, since this is a 3 bar with this output what else could I use the sensor for? Logging boost, controlling boost, speed density, or use it just use it with the gauge only?
