evo 9 feeling sluggish when normal driving

So it feels like lately when normal driving my Evo feels kinda sluggish. Maybe it's just me but when I go WOT it feels fine. I find myself having to shift at 3.5k rpm instead of 3k or it seems like the car is somewhat hesistant and somewhat has a bogging feeling. Could this be because of a boost/vac leak? Any of you guys experience this? Thanks

Is your turbo fitted with the stock MHI IX WGA? Do yo know what WG spring pressure level is at currently?

Its the feds monitoring your driving and scaling back performance until you abide by the law.

+1 on the Feds. Just wrap some foil around your ecu and on your head and you should be fine.

You always running 28# peak? Or do you have dual switchable maps? That is, more specifically do you strictly run one peak boost level(28#), or do you sometimes run a lower boost, pump gas map?

Two things that I would suggest: 1) Raise(adjust) the WG spring pressure higher. 2) Crush the DV.

If you want I can spell out the reasons why the two above steps will probably cure the issue. If you want how to on the specific procedures then PM me.

I bet it's the plugs. Make sure you are gapped right.

1. Boost leak test- as stated above-first. If you are still running egr then check that first- both vacuum ports seem to pop off pretty easily.
2. Plugs.
3. Wires.
4. Coils.
If plugs/wires/coils have a lot of age on them then it could be a part of it.
Hope you find the cause!!

Yep they are the original 90,000 miles coils. Plugs however only have about 4-4.5k on them...

In full boost though i dont feel any misfire or anything. could it still be the coils or plugs even if i dont get misfire?
