I didn't have a problem with the stock ix until I crushed it then it started fluttering from time to time but I was told that a little fluttering was normal. Unless your fluttering all the time I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Hey everyone I just picked up an Evo 8 MR. Been on this site for years and finally bought my first evo. Can you use an evo IX bov with an ets/aem intake? Or does it have to be aftermarket? I have an evo 9 bov but i have the stock intake. Sorry if that is a silly question.

 

Yes you can but recirculated it back in. The stockers should be similar.
