JIC Magic Full Titanium Cat Back with type 2 muffler (oval) Review

Weigh in was about 9-10lbs

My stock exhaust weighed in at 44lbs.

It came with all gaskets and hardware required. The box wasextremely big compared to the contents and was very well protected.

The price was $1500 msrp was $2500.

Overall I am very pleased with the look and finish. The fitwas excellent. No modifications were needed at all. I would suggest howeverthat you use a high temp thread locker on the bolts because I lost one a fewweeks after the install. The difference in expansion between the TI exhaust andthe SS high flow cat or cat delete will cause the bolts to loosen more easily.

The sound of the exhaust is amazing. In the cabin it’s nothorribly loud and outside it’s deep and throaty.

I did notice significant hp gains but I cannot say that thegains were just due to the cat-back itself. I added an o2 housing, lower IC, andhigh flow cat at the same time. I only had the car dyno tuned after my GSC S2cams & MBC was installed My baseline dyno before any mods was about 225whp.After a tune I was nearly at 300whp.

Nice Exhaust! Those weight savings alone are worth it.

they make ss versions that are much cheaper and use the same jigs so the quality and fitment is similar. all of them have flanges where the muffler connects to cut down on cost and allows u to swap muffler types.

Thats my ideal exhaust. I have the SS version, but I'm not sure if the Ti version would have fit without some cutting/welding on my JDM IX bumper. Did you buy this exhaust from a shop or private sale?

I actually got it from ebay since they recently decided not to sell them from the JIC American store. I am pretty sure they have to import them. They said to specify if you had a JDM bumper or USDM so I guess they make both versions.

The ebay seller is : racing0123
