Exclamation Best way to glue PCV valve on Valve cover?

Hello Evom,
I was wondering what people were using for keeping their PCV valve in place on the valve cover. I tried lock tyte and its not working too well.
Should i pick up one of those epoxy mixers? jb weld?

Are you talking about what to put on the threads to keep it from vibrating loose? I've never had a problem with it not staying tight. But, red locktite will hold that sucker in there. The blue isn't nearly as aggressive.

There's a fitting/collar that goes into the rocker cover first, then the PCV valve presses into that to stay in place.

I have tried numerous things to get it to stay in over the past 5 years. Nothing has worked. I bought a press in AN fitting and cannot keep that in without tying it down. I usually just vent to atmosphere after the first lap. . I dont even get all that much oil blowing out.

Maybe if you scuff up the valve cover the JB weld might stick better. The best i had at one time was by just piling JB on it and actually welding it onto the wire bracket near there. That held the longest. But, they all eventually blew out.
