Pics of the EVO 8 in Las Vegas
It had 5 spoke wheels but I doubt if they are going to be used. Many times when a manufacture test cars or trucks ,tire companys are also testing on the same vehical and usually the tire company has tires allready mounted. This isnt the case all the time but they didnt say one way or the other.
Man that car looks good. The dealer that sold me my 03 lancer sd he will get me some good pictures of the evo8 once he gets them. He expects the pics just after thanksgiving. Once I get them I;ll post them unless someone else already has.

Oh yeah the AYC ACD. No it definietly does NOT have those features. Honestly unless you are going to be racing this car in an offroad rally you don't need them. Besides they are having some problems with those features anyway in Japan. It's something that simpflies the vehicle and makes it more reliable.
Regarding the look of the vehicle. The blue EVO is a VII. The VIII the US gets is more rounded off. Looks more like the yellow one that appears in the car show photo if you've seen that. I don't remember if it looked exactly like it though. But definitely different from the blue one.

Thanks again for joining the party and sharing your insight with us.
OK to justify this post, I'm going "On Topic": Boosted, good job getting the pics...glad to see you're still alive
The seven looks a lot tougher and better in the front, no doubt (unless you have NO taste...this is an OBJECTIVE opinion!
);
but in consolation, I must say...just take a gander at the hideous silver POS sitting to our beloved's left, ponder on that front end coming outta the same design division, and we can all count our lucky stars they didn't do something like THAT to it!!

I forgot: the reason for being on topic was so that I could delve completely OFF for a moment which belongs elsewhere (in tech discussion likely) but responds to the comments quoted above about AYC. AYC makes a huge difference in handling ON TARMAC, as well as other habitats. I wish we were getting it, but with improved reliability and a 6-speed, I guess it's a reasonable trade-off. Don't kid yourselves, AYC makes a big difference in handling according to professional drivers who test it against other cars (one example: Automobile (?) mag drive-off of Evo and six others on handling) I may end up with a 7, or waiting for a later version of the 8 just to get this. But then if we could only custom design our OWN Evos!
Detroit auto show in January till all of us see the evo 8 or so called evolution in the states.
I can't believe i've waited 2 years for this stupid car. It better not disappoint me or i'll trade it in for a ZO6!
