thanks for the advice, i know they different cars in everyway, i think ill keep the camaro, cause if i were to sell it i would probably regret it. its a classic. i think ill wait a little longer before getting the evo. i have one old school dream car now. Now all i gotta do is get the other.

This car is an imported Evo VII that had some minor changes to it to make it look ALMOST like what an EVO VIII will look like. The real EVO VIII actually entered the country about a week and a half ago that they aren't out in the public yet. They are scheduled to be on sale in January.

 

How do you know all this?

 

Unfortunately, I can not say. But, I can say that I have seen 2 EVO VIII's myself, both silver and they are great looking.

 

Please feel free to divulge any information you can on the Evo VIII. Or at least let us know which magazine is most on target.

No I haven't bothered reading any articles yet. Any EVO a magazine would get as of now would not be a US spec vehicle anyway. I do know the ones that came in are for the borchure. I do know that the 0-60 accel time should be under 5 seconds. The vehicles I looked at had read windshield wipers and a carbon fiber wing. They had no audio systems in them. The interior look different slightly from an OZ Lancer by having blue inserts. They also will not have 2 featured the japan vesion has but at the moment I can't think of what they are called. It has something too do with active yaw or something like that. Anyway they definetly will NOT have it.

 

That would be ayc and acd Oh, yeh..and it will have a 5-speed not 6-speed. I'm sure those are the two things the US version won't have...counting the ayc/acd as one complete system.

Damn, I was really hoping for at least the ACD. I will only take this as a rumor however and still keep hope that doesn't shaft us yet again.
