If you call us whiney *****es for not liking the new Evo front end, need I remind you that most of us here didn't buy the WRX for the exact same reason. And, if you're just playing, may I suggest using a or at least a at the end of your post.

I think the front is just screaming "PONTIAC"!
But the most important thing to me is that keeps the performance (electronics, brakes, etc.) up there, with the euro versions!! The front can always be changed. Keep it fast, and we will come.

There is no website and no pics. Cameras were prohibited at the meeting...hence the bad pictures. Mitsubishi is/was trying to keep the new Evo "top secret" until October or so.

 

So when was 280HP and 6 speed confirmed?

 

I still say evo = dinner plate foglamps. I WANT THEM BACK DAMMIT! Oh well, thats what aftermarket is for... Other than that, I say .

Just want to share that the dinner plate foglamps shatter frequently on hi-ways unless the lense is made of plastic. That's why my brother in law's rex has meshed foglight covers.

Hey if the evo have XENONS you don't need regular foglamps. Believe me. The foglamps are not noticable due to the xenons added to the rex? I just hope my evo has xenons.

 

xenon = blind my eyes at night unless they're the BMW (or is it mercedes i forgot) factory ones

 

o btw, can i share these pics in other forums? is a relatively small forum compare to i-club or ot...and is not full of idiots like sc.net...only a couple

 

Umm..too late. These pics are on several message boards already. They are on Clubsi.com (in Si vs all and o/t), on stangnet, and on i-club. I think I've seen them in a few other forums also.
