Evo 8 radiator leaking coolant from top of fins.

So I smelled coolant burning today when I would stop, when I popped my hood I saw coolant bubbling at the top of my radiator fins. Is it busted? Could it be the radiator cap? Attached is a pic of where it was leaking, thanks.

These radiators don't last long. Mine sprang a leak this Summer. Probably time to replace.

Those things are just clamped on! I accidentally punctured mine when I was installing the Fp 84mm cover and I got an aluminum 2 row from ebay for $120 and it works great, I liked it so much that I bought a 3 row for my mustang for like the same price and so far in this 110f weather in Texas they've been working great.

You are on crack. Mine is original and has in excess of 111K miles and 10 years. So yeh they don't last that long.

Maybe I'm just unlucky but there are a few 9 owners here that had to replace their radiators at 60k.

Mine finally started leaking at 140k or so. Same spot there at the top.

Paid 50 bucks for a low millage replacement.

Hell even if it last 50k its a win
