Does anyone know anything on these hks hi power? Is it a nice sound compared to the stock because I'm looking to get it on my evo8.

This guy in my area wants to sell me a hks hi power exhaust, a 3in downpipe, and a 3 in test pipe for 300$ ?! what do you think of this deal!?

the other guy is right, because of cali you wont pass smog with that setup. maybe with just the catback you will.

Thats a good deal though. I have the hks hi power as just a catback and its a nice sounding, deep exhuast. Quiet at low rpm and a nice sound at higher RPM.

 

i have an ams down pipe and test pipe with the the cat back but i have the resonator cut off of it so its just the can it kinda sounds odd it has like a hollow sound to it all so you should try an vibrant o2 spacer i pass with no cat

 

Great deal! Just bought mine a couple months ago. Love the look and sound. Make sure he has the hardware that comes with the exhaust. There should be two brackets to it.

 

That's a great deal...but don't get pulled over the CHP won't like that set up lol

 

I have the same exhaust and I love it. Like everyone else said sounds deep on cold starts and not loud on high way unless you get on it. I forgot I love the way it sounds with my hks cams.
