^^^^ I had approximately 109k on the original engine before I blew it up. ( Went too long without changing/checking oil - starting to think it was subconsciously deliberate so I could justify the build ). For oil, initially we used Brad Penn 20-50 engine break-in and now using Mobile VR1 20-50 per my builder's recommendation.

I was thinking of getting a few folks together over the holiday break for a run somewhere (low key - no doche-baggery ) Was thinking of oak creek canyon until the weather blew in last night.... I love tortilla flats but it's a short one. If you are interested PM me. Your boy M helped me out with a part during the build - I know his ride is down but if interested in joining ....

Nice build. Very similar to my new setup except I'm running journal bearing BBK Full. Can't wait to see what it does on E85. VD numbers in your sig are on E85?

How much did this setup cost? I know you said more than $8k and did Wingz do the build or did you in your garage?

Wingz did the entire build. I was completely stock up until they built her. At that time I was sitting about 13.5k

Out of curiosity... how many miles do you have on your motor now? Do you have any impressions you want to share, now that it's almost a year later?

I have about 16k on it now. I'd be happy to give more details if you dont mind waiting till next Saturday. I just got a txt today that some bugs we have been chasing have been resolved and I am out of town on a family emergency so I haven't had a chance to drive her yet. Plus it's been a bit of an adventure worthy of a decent write-up. Stay tuned. ( pun intended
