These tail lights came extra when I bought my car. At first I thought they were jdm evo 8 tails. Then realized there is silicon around the housing like they were taken apart and painted? What I don't get is what lense is this then? They are clear with the orange bottom, and it is all hard plastic and not painted or tinted orange?

 

They look to be the Stanley jdm evo 8 tail lights.

If they were painted it looks to be a good job.

 

I cant find any part number on the housings? would it be under that silicon somewhere? w21w(p4532) is the only number I can find on the housing and its by each bulb so I assume that's nothing because I couldnt find any info on that number.

 

also can you guys see how theres a scuff on each lense? it seems to be on the inside of the lense like someone tried buffing them to polish and burnt the plastic maybe? I cant figure these out.

 

I thought all the Stanley lights had red plastic where these lights are all black plastic on the backside.

 

the orange corner appears to be vinyl applied inside... so I'm inclined to say they are in fact regular USDM evo 8 tails, made to look like JDM ones.

they did a very good job tho.

Part numbers should be on the center (of the car) side, lower corner. I can see the embossing in the cover in the one photo (#2), but can't make it out.

It should be a Stanley number.

 

Thanks guys they are Stanley headlights. I see the part number on the lens now. They say Stanley P3442L and P3442R. Whats a fair asking price to sell these?
