Last night I was driving home and everything was fine. As I was getting off the highway, I tried to take it out of fifth but it was stuck there. I finally got it out as I was coasting down the ramp but now it will not go into any gear and when it is the neutral position, its actually in reverse ha.

I already assume the trans is coming out and probably done for but I thought id share the story on here to see what others would have to say. Any input would help. Also I noticed as it was coming off the flatbed there was trans fluid on the ground. I have not had the chance to see where it was coming from yet since this happened at 11:30pm.

Stock trans and clutch. No problems what so ever before this happened.

 

Are the seals in good condition?. One of your seals probably went really bad to an extent to where the transmission gets starved out.

Then it will break down because of lack of lubrication then it will thermally break down seizing to heat and friction. your going to need another transmission. please take pics
