Hi everyone I recently purchased an evo ix when I bought it it had 48k miles now it has 51k I decided to change the spark plug... I wanted to know if its normal for the old spark plug to look like the ones on the pictures or does my evo ix might have a problem?

What Picture ? Also my tuner recommended changing plugs on a turbo car every 20k i believe i think he said 10k but to me that low. So if the plugs look like crap they might be original plugs

They don't look too bad, pretty normal. Did you check the gap of them? If I was in your situation and just bought the car I would replace them too. Reason for that is because every time I buy a car I always do all the maintenance.

Every car that I buy before I start driving it I do all the maintenance, and do a complete detailing of the entire car.

The plugs look old to me and I would change them even if they only had 5k miles on them.

I didn't checked the gap .....I replaced them with the same ngk spark plugs and I notice that the car runs much smoother and I also notice that it doesn't waste gas as it used to

Pull them out and check the gap, it's pretty easy to do. Your old plugs looked fouled out.
