Im doing the built evo 8 block on built evo 9 head and the water pump will not fit there is a whole still not being covered. I went to napa and told them the part number EVOLUTION VIII WATER PUMP - 1300A065 and that ome goes back to their napa pump and ot does not fit my car. Some one who has a evo please help me out. Idk why these will not work. I tried two different pumps but they r not covering the holes on the block..

you don't have a 4g64 block? I know I had to get an adapter plate for my evo water to be used with a 4g64 because without it it doesn't cover up a water jacket. You could also try ordering an oem pump.

 

I dont know if it is 2.4 or 2.0 but I used a outlander water pump nd it worked..
