Okay, so I have an Evo 8 and currently on an Evo 8 stock turbo with tons and tons of shaft play. It has been running fine that way for a while, but last night the car got to where it would tick under boost. The sound is only there from like -2 vacuum on up and as the revs go up, the sound gets faster. So, I at this point, am under the impression that it is an exhaust manifold leak. So I ordered a gasket from STM.

Does that sound like the issue to others?
