Evo 8 E85 first time at Irwindale 1/8 Mile

Ran my evo at the track for the first time. Raced a 2013 Challenger SRT8 392 6 speed with Kenne Bell Supercharger, Dyno tune 550 WHP. My evo is stock turbo stock block 412 AWHP 389 AWTQ on E85.

FIRST RUN

I ran 7.62 @ 90 MPH 1.8 60'

Challeger ran 8.29 @ 81 MPH 2.1 60'

SECOND RUN

Not such a good run for me 7.84 1.8 60'

still beat the guy twice!

It's pants ****tingly fast compared to stock at that power. 400 awhp might not seem like much compared to a lot of the builds you see here but make no mistake that's an extremely fast street car which can easily hold its own against practically anything you'll come across.

yes i agree. i make in the same ballpark of power on stock turbo e85, and although youll quickly get used to it and feel like its slow, 4xxWHP/380wtq is def enough for ALMOST everything you'll come across including average 600cc bikes like i said you'll get used to it and it'll feel slow, but most people just go for more hp like 500+ because they crave for that feeling of fastness again, but i remember 1st and 2nd the day after i got my e85 tune, it felt violently fast! best way to know that your car is still quick is by taking friends for rides and their nervous giggle@WOT will reassure you

pretty great street car. drove it 100 miles to track, did a few passes, and drove it 100 miles home.

thats what the evos fking about!! ONLY car you can make crapload of power out of stock block, and beat on it at the track, than drive home at 135k miles and still beatin on her!

Not bad man, I like the in-car. I know your car can run faster. Ive ran 7.5 on a 9 turbo and 93oct making a hair under 350 and couldn't launch the car over 4k bc of a failing coupler. I like muscle cars but I always smile pulling up alongside knowing what these cars can do to most of them. Cool vids man
