hey guys i took my car to the shop today to get the power steering pump replaced since its leaking and they told me that the oem part is on national back order? anyone know of any aftermarket ones that are good quality and wont crap out on me. my car is under warranty from my loan company also so just need to know what to tell the shop to order

I too just found out I have this problem. I believe we are simply SOL. I don't think it's the same as any of the other mitsubishi models of the same year either.. Please correct me if I'm wrong though..

 

see if they can get the parts to rebuild it? should just be seals.

 

I just ended up buying a used one, won't drive it if my line bursts again this time :/

 

well since mine is still covered by my warranty so i doubt they will reimburse me for a used one :\ just wish they would make some ><

 

oem isn't back ordered, there are a handful of them in each mitsu warehouse.
