help! launch control
Did I just read that you have a remote starter that tricks your car into thinking that the clutch is pushed in? or that the switch is bypassed, That is why your hitting stationary rev limit, your ecu will engage launch control when the clutch is pushed in, essentially it thinks it's pushed in all the time.. I'd get that little issue fixed.

When you say bypassed do you mean unplugged? Because I have a remote start on my car and all I did was on plug the switch. And for my launch control to work I have to be in neutral or clutch in. It's weird how it works, but the previous owner set it up like that. I simply unplugged the clutch switch.
Lol don't get tune until you replace those spark plugs. I had the same problem, boost would hit and limp mode would set in around 4k. You most likely have some fowler plugs. I switched mine and solved the problem.
Yeah good idea that what I was about to do wating for plugs from mail
Did you miss the part where I said if your ecu thinks the clutch is pushed in, it will activate the launch control... if you have your switch bypassed to have the alarm work I would hook that back up and see if it fixes your problem then figure out a solution for the starter.
Question for you, is it hitting boost cut or revving like launch control does in first gear. It maybe you need to turn your boost down what PSi are you running up to and what octane gas are you using?
It does on all gears its missfire or fuel cut or maybe my esc got mest up so far will see what they say in the shop I think after I reset check engine light it might mest up some file and it reads it wrong way

The launch control will not work if your driving even if you push in the clutch and hold it in and rev to your set rpm. I again would like to know what is your set psi, sounds to me like your running lean and your Ecu is pulling to protect your engine. If your boost control is to high for your octane that's most likely what your experiencing. Turn your boost down to 19 and see if your still getting the same problem

That's your problem then your hitting fuel cut 28 psi is way too high for 93 octane.
Do you have a data logger? I would not go up to 28 unless you have race gas or meth/ water inj
Your getting knock which is cutting fuel and timing to keep you from blowing your motor. If you can get on a dyno or data log you will see it. Turn your boost down for pump I would go part 23 and that's if your have had it tuned for that. Best of luck turn the boost down and let us know I bet you will no longer experience the problem
