AEM misfire problem

I just put installed the AEM EMS in my car. The car now misfires under boost and has a little misfire just cruising. Has anyone else had this problem with the AEM. I am using the stock coils. Do i need to upgrade the ignition????

sounds more like tuning...but depends on how much boost your running. The stock coils are not consistent some will make 400hp some 500hp...without severe misfires. Stay tuned as we are in the final stages of testing our non-cdi coil on plug. These feature 4 individual high powered coils.

22-25 lbs is all you will get with stock coils on any turbo 50trim or bigger. If you change the plugs they will only last for a few pulls then crap out again. The EVO coils don't perform well with the AEM box, exactly as too why I don't think we will ever find out becuase the AEM support group is CRAP. I ended up having to build my own ignition using a 1g could and ignitor and it works like a champ.

If you are using the AEM EMS consider yourself very lucky. Are you running the stock AEM settings or have you changed the dwell settings at all?
