100% ethanol

Hey guys. I hv to reflashed ecus. 1 for 95 and one for e50. Am planning on changing ethanol tune to e85. Am just wondering instead about running full ethanol. I by my ethanol in 250 litre drums so am mixing to make my e50. Just wondering is it possible to just go straight ethanol??? Tuned obviously

Yes but you need to find good pump to withstand ethanol.

The benefit of running straight ethanol is said to be outweighed by the risk of the ethanol combustion at that mixture. Since ethanol burns without a flame that you can see it can be a very dangerous situation.

Op you all good you can run on pure E all you want.even David Buschur brews his own E but then he distill it down to E85 if I'm not mistaken.

If you get E100 at the pump its actually E98. Unless your getting pure Ethanol somewhere. I know a few people that were running E100 from the pump and had no clue it was actually E98. Just trying to clarify

I don't think you could get to 100%. There will always be some water in it.

Water content aside, I've read that gas companies must mix in a little gas to deter folks from drinking it. I can't comment on the validity of the statement but I do recall reading that.

I buy my ethanol direct from south pacific fuels in 250 litre drums. 100%. They on sell this to gull who then convert to e85. Its pure with corrosion inhibitor added

Yea we get that...but we call it E100 anyways....That would be like someone saying "Hey you dont run E85...it's more like e60-80" lol
