That clutch will hold the horsepower and torque numbers you listed. I just bought that clutch and the lightweight flywheel but I can't review it yet. English Racing had great reviews for the Stage 2 with an unsprung disc, I just wanted a little more holding power for auto-x launches.

STM's prices are a tad high for that clutch, though. It's listed for $469 on MAP's website and they knock off a litttle extra if you PM them as it's more convenient than having to answer a phone.

Are you eventually going to build your car even more? If so, I'd recommend getting a clutch that will hold your power goals?

I'm at 430 hp and 408tq and I just picked up an ACT XTSS. If I were you I'd get the HDSS. Holds great power and very comfortable to daily drive.

I'd go with the comp stage 2. It will hold the anything a stock block motor should be producing. I've had mine for a long time and drive the car hard. There's a local 500whp+ that is running it as well and has no issues either.

Guys i also have the same question, my final target is around 400 at the wheels, after browsing through an EXEDY caalogue, i found the Hyper twin plate stage 3 with Ceremetallic compound suitable for my evo8. What are your views on this clutch?

You don't need something that
Aggressive. A stage 2 sprung or unstung clutch works just fine and way cheaper

which particular would you suggest? i was thinking of ACT XTSS, or the one mentioned above, i can compromise driving pleasure as my car is not a daily driver. I need something that is long lasting and can hold the torque, according to an exedy catalog stage 2 is good for about 350tq, kinda confused here now
