It has SSL leather seats. Both headlights are the same. The fan up front is probably OEM, but just painted red. Just looking at these pics you shared, I'd say it's probably a fair deal at $16k. I've seen salvage IX's with higher mileage listed for close to that and more sometimes. If you aren't mechanically inclined, have a friend who is go check it out with you, or maybe take it to AWD for an inspection or a similar shop for peace of mind.

One thing with red is to have someone look at the paint closely. Red is very hard to match, so if it's been wrecked, someone with a trained eye should be able to tell. Also check all VINs on it- rad support, hood, fenders, doors, rear bumper and trunk. Check the engine VIN too while you're at it.

High mileage... more than just timing belt will end up needing replaced soon. Kind of a steep price for unknown variables. I'd say yes if you pay less than 16.

First thing I noticed too...mileage is a little steep. I got my 03 with 50k on it for 15,500 and its cleaner than clean.

Is anyone going to point out the fact its a rally red IX MR? Which is pretty rare! It does scare me that it doesn't have the original MR seats, but maybe the owner just liked leather better. I wouldn't count this vehicle out if the seller is willing to go lower on the price & provide maintenance records.

Mileage is a bit steep yes but it is a ix and ixs are much more coveted. 16k isnt horrible but there are better deals around. Did you do a carfax?

dont jump on this right away i would look around first i almost garuntee u can find a better deal. the price is pretty high for my taste but can be argued with what u get and it being an MR, everyone on here is right about their input but just ask urself 130k? yeah its nice and all that but these cars are beat on no what anyone sais hes gunna say anything to make you fork over 16k. i know i beat the **** out of mine lol so just think thats 130 k miles worth high rpm revving, maybe a few launches, basically very spirited driving. in my opinion a evo with that high of mileage is just gunna turn into a money pit. good luck and i hope im wrong if u end up buying it

It's not a bad deal, but you can definitely find something with lower mileage for a lower price if you're willing to wait and look around a bit more.

Don't agree on a price until you drive it.
