Hey guys just had a few questions regarding the sunroof on my newly purchased evo viii. When I bought the car the previous owner warned me not to use the sunroof because there were screws missing attaching the motor.

Well I dove in and removed the headliner this evening and replaced the screws in the motor ( also added some loctite ) and got everything put back together. I followed the "how to fix stuck sunroof" thread to a T and now the sunroof won't completely shut. I've dropped the motor and ran it all the way back and pushed the glass back also and reinstalled everything but still no go. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing to work?

 

Bump anyone have any ideas?

 

There is "range" of the movement that the motor could make on the track. You just have to fine that "range"

 

I have dropped the motor and applied power to move it all the way back. I also pushed the glass itself all the way back then bolted it all back up but still no luck.
