Selling EVO 8

How much do you think I can get from 2003 BLK EVO 8,

with 6000 miles, car is in prefect condition,

It has HKS Blowoff Valve, HKS racing suction intake,
and HKS turbo timer.

If you have any idea how much I can sell for in private party and trade-in to the dealer.

Im in Nor Cal.

Since you're in Northern Cali and not Southern Cali (where you can probably find 3 or 4 in every city). I would think $28,000 max. You should check out EBAY prices and and Kelly Blue Book.

Even though I paid $3000 mark-up price?
My local dealer still sells EVO for 34,999 right now.

It's too lower that what I thought.. maybe I should keep this car..

oh, the reason I wanna change the car is that I want some luxury comfortable feeling...with little better gas mileage will make me appreciate.

I've said it a thousand times..."what you paid and what it is worth are 2 completely unrelated numbers".

at the most 24k. The market for evos sucks right now, and they are going for 26.5 new in some places. Sorry man, but if your gonna sell it, your gonna take a hit.

on ebay the other day there was a "buy it now" brand new evo with 100 miles on it at a Connecticut dealer - $25995.

someone could have that car trucked to California for $1000 and have a brand new evo for $27k. that basically makes yours (and mine) worth $23-$24k.

Evos and Stis both sell for a lot more on the west coast. your best bet if buying new....not that this threads about that...but its going to some dealer in iowa or ohio or the south.

your best bet would be a 330, the new TL, or an IS300

See if you can find someone willing to trade you. There are quite a few people out there that would love to trade their car for an EVO. You just have to look. See if you can find a forum for the car you're looking for. Also, post in the recycler.

I've gotten a lot of interest at $25k. Dealer was trying to lowball me at $23-24k. Mine is similarly equipped to yours, with similar mileage, except it's white. Some areas have low-zero demand, like NH, ME, MA, others have very high demand, like NJ, OR, WA, and CA. I had three different people ask if I would ship to the Midwest and West Coast. Did you post your car on Autotrader?
