Been watching few turbo/super charged evos on u tube. How hard is this to achieve? Is it possible on 8 motor in 5 body?

 

Evo are naturally turbocharge car from the factory, to get a super charger in there require ALOT of custom work which is quite a bit of money. Then there the question of why would you lol.

As for your other question about putting a evo 8 engine in evo 5 car, it very doable with not much effort consider the same engine. a lot people swap or just built there engine from the ground up.

We don't have many evo 5 built on this site since we didn't get any evos till the 8 arrive in the US. You will find also of info on here if you search. Lancer register is another evo forum base in the UK, you can check there, there alot of older evo build over there. Hope that helps

Sorry u must hv mis understood. My 5 has a built 8 motor in it now!!! Was easy as. Was assuming cost would be big for super charger. Was just wanting info on it and cost estimation. Theres pics of my 5 in my garage. Not most recent ones but near enough

I have just been watching them and it sounds sik as hell!! Want to be differentwith my build. Turbo/supercharged has a strange appeal to me as you get the turbo top end and supercharger bringing that power in at the bottom end. Biggest thing is to be different in my build and end up with something unique.

The Torque Solutions driveshaft support bushings give a very similar whine during decel at track speeds that make it sound like that supercharger in that video. Much cheaper and easier to do and you get that cool sound.
