Yeah they are! Thats how my friend has kept his. Everything is stock except for the SR20 swap and a rear diff from the previous owner. Suspension mods here are kinda hard to have because cops and the state dont like them so much that they can refuse your renewal of registration if they dont like what you do to your car. Its so hard to find another one here because everything for sale is dropped and stanced and cambered and junk. The cars look stupid.

welcome to the Evo world buddy! The plethora of knowledge you'll find on this site is a little overwhelming at first. if you're married then your wife will probably grow to hate it, because I read and read and read whenever I can lol

the thing I like about this forum as opposed to others is everyone's friendly and helps each other out, and you will almost always find an answer to your solution. have fun dude

Welcome to the Evo world. Now that these cars are 10 years old almost any question you have has probably been answered before. The search button and stickied topics are your new best friends.

I run 28psi on an upgraded 20g turbo (stock Evo is 16g btw) all day long with 1100cc injectors and head studs. My only advice would be to do the head studs if they aren't already done and boosting at that range will be just fine. Good luck and welcome to the Evo community.

I bet it drops a few psi, but not nearly as much as if you still had the stock 8 turbine housing.

For sure give English a call, as far as I know they store all tunes in there computer system, but it may be under the PO's name. ER is the master of 4G63T's and they know Evos like no other shop in Washington, if they set up that car it will be just fine. They guys in the shop are all super cool and helpful, they will answer any questions you might have about your new car. Enjoy that Evo, and go play with some hondas

I have 113K on mine and it's max boost is 27 also. I have had ZERO issues and I really don't se anything going South on it anytime soon. I don't have head studs either.

I would say you are more than safe at that boost level. This is a whole different animal than your 240.

27PSI is fine as long as you are tuned for it. It'll fall to 18PSI anyway so it's mostly for mid range.
