Private party?

How long did you search for it?

I'd been looking for about 5 years on and off. I wanted one untouched, single owner and one with all records of maintenance. I purchased it from a dealership that specialized in buying cherry cars like that.

Someone around here was willing to sell me something similar. 2006 MR SE GG one owner, all stock, pristine for 27k, except it was at like 45k miles. I ended up going for a RR 9 MR that was 6k less and had all the mods I wanted already installed by buschur. Sometimes mods arent a bad thing

I thought about going that route, but was having trouble finding one with the mods I wanted and having the exterior appearance I wanted. Plus I wanted to feel it's power stock, and see what each tasteful mod would do for it.

Low-mileage, untouched > any mod list I can think of. What a great find. I'd gladly pay extra.

South Coast Mitsubishi still has the two still-new Evo IX MRs in their showroom.

But rest assured you will not want to pay what they would sell them for.

Glad I found this thread!
Back in 2009 I bought a IX SE with 25k miles for 23k. Like a ***-hat I dumped 15k into it and sold it for 19k.
Since than I've bought a 2011 135M, 2011 EVO MR, 2007 335i and numerous motorcycles to try and replace that IX SE.
Now I can't find an SE to save my life. However I just bought a IX MR that was vetted by English racing for 17k (80k miles), hoping that's a fair price. I figure at this point I can replace all wearable items.

Hi guys! I am new here. Glad to see all your experience on buying and selling an IX. I'm trying to find one in a good shape. I can say it is a challenging experience for sure.
