My gauge pod clicks between 2-4k rpm. it started on a cold morning a few weeks ago. Nothing was changed or altered to the car.
Im also hearing a weird squeal or howl coming from the engine. i think its the turbo. the noise started on a cold day as well. you really have to listen to it to hear the noise.
I need to take it to my shop but i have been working way too much lately. the car has cams, tb exhaust, few pump, and just did the 60k. any input would be great, thanks!

 

Why is your engine light on, did you pull the code for the check engine light yet? Also, that clicking doesn't sound like its coming from the dash board, it sounds like a collapsed lifter or rod knock to me. Super hard to tell over the internet but it sounds like engine noise to me from the video not the dash board making noise. Easy way to tell if its your dash is to pull the dash out and start the car lol. If the noise goes away then just buy a used dash from TAE in Florida. I'm not really sure what would cause that kind of noise from the cluster display. I've taken mine out to put a European one in instead and there isn't any moving parts or relays or anything inside of the cluster. That's why I don't think the dash can make noise but who knows. I would pull the cluster out and start the car, noise goes away there's your answer, but again that still sounds like engine noise to me. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

 

the clicking stops at 4k rpm. i had someone rev it and listen outside the car and i can not hear it.
